I am passionate about working with students to develop their full potential. I have been a Resource Specialist for the past 15 years and have been at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton California since 2001. Being a Resource Specialist provides me the opportunity to develop individualized educational programs that are tailored to meet the needs of each student.
Prior to teaching I spent 6 years in the Marine Coprs where I served as an infantry Non-commisioned officer in an Amphipous Assault Special Operations Unit. Immediately after my last tour I entered San Jose State Univiersity where I received my undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and minor in Special Education. I latter recived my teaching credientials and Masters degree in Special Education from San Jose State.
